Aviator is the crash game inside the 888starz casino tab. Spribe built it and launched it in 2019. The rules are simple: a multiplier climbs from 1.00x, and you cash out before the plane flies away. This guide covers the RTP, the bet limits, how the crash point is generated, and why predictor apps are scams.
This is an independent guide. We do not take bets or hold accounts. 18+.

What Aviator is and how a round works
A round opens with a betting window of roughly five to nine seconds. You set your stake and confirm the bet. The window closes, the plane takes off, and the multiplier climbs from 1.00x. It crashes at a point decided before the round began. Tap Cash Out first and your stake is multiplied by the counter value. Miss it and the stake is lost. There is no partial refund.
Cash out at 1.50x on a ₦1,000 stake and you receive ₦1,500. Ride to 3.00x and you receive ₦3,000. The ceiling is 10,000x, but most rounds end early. That is what 97% RTP and average volatility look like in practice.
The crash point is fixed before you bet. Your stake does not influence it. Neither does the number of players.
How to play Aviator in the 888starz app, step by step
Install the app
Get the APK (org.starz888.client, build 255.0.1, 53.8 MB, Android 7.0+) from the home page. No APK exists for iPhone. iOS users get the App Store listing or the Safari web app.
Log in or register
Real-money rounds need a funded account. The registration guide covers the four signup methods and the promo-code field.
Find it under Crash games
Open the Casino tab, then the Crash category. Aviator sits alongside JetX and CricX.
Place the bet
Type a stake into the panel: about ₦150 at the low end, up to about ₦150,000. Live limits show above the field. Confirm before the window closes.
Cash out before it flies away
Tap Cash Out while the plane is on screen and you keep your stake times the live multiplier. Decide the exit number before the round starts.
Aviator features
The Aviator panel carries the standard Spribe feature set. None of it changes the odds.
Auto bet
Auto bet repeats the same stake for a set number of rounds. It removes the risk of missing a betting window, nothing else. A stake too large for your bankroll just loses faster.
Auto cash-out
Set a target multiplier, say 1.80x, and the game closes your bet the instant the curve touches it. Reaction time stops mattering. If the round crashes below the target, you lose as you would have manually. Auto cash-out buys discipline, not an edge.
Two bets in one round (the dual-bet strategy)
Aviator gives you two bet panels for the same flight. Each has its own stake, auto cash-out target and Cash Out button. You can exit one bet early and leave the other running. It does not double your chances: both bets face the same crash point, so it kills or pays both.
Live bets, statistics and chat
A side panel lists other players' bets, who cashed out at what multiplier, running statistics and a chat window. It is atmosphere: someone cashing out at 12x tells you nothing about your round.
RTP and Provably Fair: how the crash point is decided
Aviator's published RTP is 97%. Over a very large number of rounds the game returns about ₦97 per ₦100 staked; the other ₦3 is the house edge. It says nothing about a single session.
The crash point is generated before the round from a random seed. The game publishes a cryptographic hash of that seed before any bets are accepted. When the round ends, the seed is revealed. Anyone can hash it and check that it matches the hash published beforehand.
If the operator changed the crash point mid-round, the revealed seed would no longer match the published hash, and the mismatch would be visible. In Spribe's implementation the seed combines server and player-side inputs, so no single party can steer the outcome.
Aviator strategies that actually make sense
Nothing here makes money over time. At 97% RTP, every bet has negative expected value, whatever pattern you place it in. Strategies manage risk: how fast you lose and how volatile the session feels. They do not beat the game.
Low-multiplier cash-out (1.5x–2.0x)
Auto cash-out at 1.50x to 2.00x gives frequent small returns and a shallow loss curve. You hit the target often, and miss it often enough that the house edge still grinds you down. A 2.00x target does not win half the time. It is the lowest-variance way to play, nothing more.
The dual-bet split
Put a stake on each panel. Set the first to auto cash out at 1.40x or 1.50x, so it recovers most of the combined stake. Leave the second running with a higher target. Both die together when the plane leaves early.
Bankroll rules
Predictors, signals and hacks: why none of them work
Predictor apps, signal groups, hacked APKs and channels selling "today's multipliers" are all scams.
Past multipliers do not predict the next round. Each round is independent. The crash point is generated from a seed and committed to a hash inside the game server before the round opens. No third-party app on your phone can see or compute it. There is no pattern to read.
If an app could predict a 10,000x crash point, nobody would sell it for ₦5,000 a month.
The last-multipliers history strip: what it does and does not tell you
Above the game board runs a strip of recent crash points: 1.12x, 4.30x, 1.01x, 2.55x. It is a log of recent volatility, and nothing else.
After six low crashes in a row, a big one feels overdue. It is not. Each round is independent, as explained above. That is the gambler's fallacy. If the strip makes you raise a stake, close the game.
Demo mode: practise without staking
888starz offers Aviator in demo mode. It is free, runs on virtual credits, and the interface is identical: same betting window, same dual-bet panel, same auto cash-out, same history strip. Learn the buttons and the pace there first.
Funding Aviator play and cashing out winnings in Nigeria
Aviator settles into your main balance, so funding it means funding your 888starz account. In Nigeria the fastest rails are OPay and PalmPay: deposits from ₦300, instant, no fee. Paystack, bank transfer and crypto also work. 888starz is crypto-first, with 37+ coins.
Withdrawals: minimum ₦4,000, e-wallet payouts usually inside ten minutes, daily e-wallet ceiling about ₦2,000,000. Two rules catch people out. The money must return to the same method and the same account holder that funded the deposit, so a payout to someone else's OPay wallet is rejected. And KYC runs before your first withdrawal, not before you bet, so that first cash-out can take 24–72 hours while the NIN slip or passport is reviewed. Later payouts are fast. Full matrix: deposits and withdrawals.
Does the welcome bonus work on Aviator?
The sports welcome package is 200% across your first four deposits, unlocked with promo code MAXBONUS999 at registration. Its wagering is x5 the bonus amount and clears on accumulators only: three or more legs, each at odds of 1.40 or higher, within 30 days. Singles do not count. Casino play does not count. Aviator does not clear the sports bonus. You can play it with your own money at any time, but those rounds add nothing to the wagering.
The casino path is the alternative welcome offer: free spins, a larger headline package, much heavier wagering. You pick one path at signup, never both. If you plan to play in the casino tab, the sports package is the wrong offer.
